While this Cabernet initially seemed heavy on the caramel oak, upon decanting the dark cherry and chocolate flavors shone through. It will likely benefit from aging a bit, but is a wonderful cocktail wine right now, given a bit of proper decanting.

A nice, fruity and smooth cab that paired well with chicken in a fig sauce.
