Pop and pour, notes from 1 hr open. Pure blackberry and bramble, some hi-toned pomegranate, some soft herbs, a touch of game and soft perfume round out the nose. On the palate: fantastic acidity throughout, juicy blackberry, herbs and very soft stemmy notes, and then the tannin builds in velvety density...leans a touch chalky balanced by the profoundly juicy finish. In the last 2.5 years (since my last btl) this has gone from merely very good to profound. Wow.
