Orange style white wine. Rich and thick. Poached pear on the nose. Tropical palette with a buttery honeycomb. Finished full dry with a whiskey barrel spice. 15% abv for a white. Not for the dainty white drinkers. I love it

I tried this at a wine fest and thought it was delicious, so I shelled out $28 for it. But this was the foulest wine I have ever tasted. It tasted rotten. Vinegar and dead leaves. Not sure if it was corked or my tastebuds were fooled at the end of the day but my bottle (from barrel 185-2014) was just nasty. I ended up using it to trap fruit flies because they seemed to love it.
Would have returned it but no receipt and I didn't buy it at a store.
