Third vintage release, 55/45 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, all from Konnowac Vineyards, Rattlesnake Hills. 175 cases made. 14.2% alc/vol. Herbal aromas. Strawberry, black currant and cherry flavors, maybe some blueberry too. Soft mouthfeel. Good base of finer grained tannins, well suspended on initial pouring. Slightly tart bite before cherry, mint and mineral aftertaste. Layered flavor profile and a very good value for a moderately priced red table wine. Worth seeking out. After 24 hours, moderate skin astringency emerges and flavors integrate. Still highly drinkable
