Crossed the Rubicon and passed a point of no return just like Julius Caesar's army's crossing of the Rubicon River (in the north of Italy ) in 49 BC which this wine is aptly named for. Red currants, blackberries, cedar, herbs, and more are all crossing together harmoniously in this iconic wine.

Serious as hell. This as a full bodied multi layered beast of a wine. It somehow isn't too unctuous or cloying. Its finish is endless with mocha and dark chocolate with strong tannins that make this extremely age worthy. Laying one down for sure.

Coming around nicely. It's finally shed those tannins..

Dark berry, plum, black olive, licorice, blackberry pie. Feels like northern Rhône. Tannins are pronounced, with leather, tar, pipe tobacco, and blackberry fruit. Still grippy for the bottle age. Pair with a fat ribeye. Shows potential to improve with time.

Wow! What a bold, nice cab. This one is awesome and fun to drink now. Great bold flavor, especially because it reminds me of my sister and brother in laws wedding which was so fun. Great berry flavor with strong leathery taste. Drink it now but let it open for an hour first. Enjoy all!!!
