Second time around in just as many nights. Allowing nearly 10 hours to open up brings oyr a beautiful sweet raspberry coulis like palate which I'm seriously enjoying. Tannins have settled too.

Hours later i'm still trying to get my head around this wine. The nose certainly attracts a lot of interest. However the palate could offer a tiny bit more. The aromas are honestly reminiscent of a Moroccan style casserole. Cardamom and a slight sweat and oxidization. There is a distinct roasted meat aroma along with plenty of aromatic spice. The second you get past that you begin to get the feintest of satsuma plum and black cherries. Dried vanilla tobacco, old oak and burnt plastic join the party. The palate is thick and sludgy. It's quite tannic but nowhere near as much as it's warnings lead on. Tannins are firm, acid is definitely still there yet not quite as noticeable. Dark chocolate and sour black cherry's fill that palate along with a finish with the sourness of dried raspberries.
