What a great wine. A little thinner than what I remember from previous bottles but full of ripe fruit backed by just enough acid. Great alongside foie gras and Lyonnaise salad one night and a Thai curry the next

Pale yellow. Nose of lychee melon. Very crisp. Tart. Green Apple very dry. Not my favorite. I was hoping for more character to offset the dryness.

Wow. Seriously powerful stuff. Hugel is making a real statement on its estate capability. Flint, focus, huge weight and incredibly dry.
