I’m intrigued by Nate Ready’s Hiyu project from the Hood River region in Oregon. This is characterized as a field blend of white/red Burgundian grapes made as alpine style white wine. Really interesting, but difficult for me to get past the $95 price point. Nate’s related Smockshop Band label has some wines that are just as interesting in the $30-$55 range. Worth checking out if you want to unleash your inner wine geek.
