The color of purple at midnight, the '03 Henry's Drive Shiraz maybe past it's prime, but like many older Aussie's is still a vibrant wine full of life. The predominate nose of blackberry and licorice is followed by burly flavors of prunes, roasted meats and alcoholic spice. Not for the feint of heart, it still tingles the back of the tongue with its massive spicy finish.

Open on 3/28/14, it holds up well. I lack aroma on the nose. However, It is not as fruit forward as I expected for an Australian. I enjoyed it.

Price unknown. WD 5.5. A little skunky. Could be too old.
