Produced by Mailly, a grand cru village that is also the name of the Domaine just outside of Reims about 15 minutes. This was a special label made for the 2016 Euro Cup, and made as Mailly's house style. Golden color, dough, lemon zest, ripe green apple, anise, and crisp acidity to the finish with a pretty low dosage. Only 11,000 bottle produced. Mailly is most certainly one of my favorite houses, and one of my favorite to visit!
