Dense purple red in color. Vanilla, butter, black currant, black pepper notes in nose. Cherry-berry flavor with heavy bitter and astringent seed tannins on finish, slightly hot aftertaste. Needs time to open. After 90 minutes spearmint aroma, flavor and aftertaste emerges, mixed berry and black currant dominate among fruit flavors. Not a lot of finesse here but a decent local table wine with local varietal character
