Dark fruits, black cherries, cherry liquor, twigs, dark cocoa and deep purple floral undertones. Moderate plus oaky tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Completely grips the palate from the attack through the finish. Mouthwatering acidity, delicious. Dark and rich on the palate; dark spices, tons of dark cocoa, cinnamon. Notes of black raspberries and cherries. A little toasty too. Started to get a bit more rounded on the palate as it opened up. Stunning wine that will only improve with time. Drink till 2033. (95+)

Love this wine and this bottle of '11 is really good. Could still use a little more time for tannins to soften a bit more, but a great wine in a tough Napa vintage.

This is the 2011 vintage. I think this wine is drinking extremely well right now. It has been decanting for 2 hours and is just smokin. I can't wait to open some of the "better vintages" that are in my cellar. Bravo.
