The red wines I tasted when I was at the south of the Loire were very different (special) compared with "typical" French wines. The complexity is not defined by the body, but by its finesse in taste. You taste the fruit, but their sweetness is in balance with the acidity with makes them taste elegant. At least when its a well-made Bourgueil. I also taste a lot of bad ones over there. This one, recommended by my importer, is just excellent. 16€ is not cheap, but for this one, worth its money.
