Soft, lush, zippy acid, complex nose, fine body,a brilliant imitation of Old world style. Had me fooled. Delicious.

Vintage 2013; written on back. So impressed with this, tasted blind in options. I though Old World and with a touch more age, the latter misconception (or both, really) connected to a really intriguing depth to the citrus fruit tones. Nose very fragrant, floral and citric, with a green bean-like hint and fennel. Just a zap of sweetness on the front palate and then whoosh, it's this long, focused and thrilling palate. The texture is soft, the lemon/lime fruit intense and there's unmissable gingery spice that zings through the finish. Complex, assertive wine with lovely balance.
