2015: this is a keeper. Mellow tannins, blackberry/cherry. Needs some air before enjoying.

Minted berry jam.

Medium heft, cigar wrapped cedared fruit leather. Pencil! Haven’t tasted that in a CDP in a few years, mint. All brought together, and shown the door, by a barrel that has been tempered by time. Stellar vintage.

Young, and deliciously approachable.

Plum, blackberry, currant, raspberries, cherries, spice, licorice, and graphite. Full bodied and very fruit forward with red and black fruit notes. Very earthy and herbaceous on the nose. Not my favorite bottle of Chateauneuf, but after 5 more years or so, this 2015 bottle will show much better. Definitely needs a good decanting prior to consuming.
