1.5L were used as offering during the beef sacrament that took place at the annual meeting of the minds at The House of Prime (SF). Great depth and concentration while also offering lifting blue fruit and balanced acidity to support the feast of feasts.

Oct 21st, 2016I had higher expectations for this. It was a bit closed and started to show better at the end of the night, but by then I wasn't paying too much attention to things. Stylistically more traditional than the Dard et Ribo and Hervé Souhaut wines. Cornas wildness with precise winemaking. More muscular than the other Rhones and definitely set up to age. A very good wine, but up against tough competition this night.

More approachable than I'd expected. I may have pegged this closer to home. Still a very nice representation of Syrah.

The most reticent Cornas ever. I wanted this to grab me by the lapels...but it just politely said hello and went on its way.
