Very representative Napa style. Plenty of grippy tannins, big fruit, coffee and tobacco notes, astringent finish of pine. Well made.

People on this board seem to dislike this wine. Yes it is California rich and heavy I get that but it is also quite herbaceous which I find interesting. This wine has been sitting uncorked in the wine store for 2 days. It's alive and well. Relative big fruit, plums, spicy a really good deal for CA pinot.
