This is 2016 Cabernet Franc. I’ve requested Delectable add it.
On the nose, dark, ruby, dusty cassis. Blueberries, blackberries, black raspberries, raspberries, black plum, caramel, vanilla, touch of black licorice, tree sap, sweet dark soils and amazing fragrant blue & purple florals.
On the palate; the body is full. The tannins are dry, dusty and grippy. The fruits are ripe and juicy; blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries & strawberries. Some vanilla, light caramel, dust, dry crushed rocks, soft leather, dry tobacco, wonderful acidity and a ripe, elegant, beautifully polished finish.

Medium bodied, earthy, smooth. Stood up well to charbroiled lamb. Loved the character and structure of this wine - would definitely drink again!
