Honeyed in color and floral to the nose, enriched with dried orchard fruits and backed by clarifying minerality. Cloves and white pepper are balanced with lychee and peach, while healthy acidity holds it all in check. Thai chilies and garlic vinegar sauces in an Asian tasting menu gave it a high-five for keeping up with and setting pace for the heat.

May 21st, 2015Nice dry Gewurtz but needs a good 18 months in the bottle. Bottles I drank last year (2011 or 2010, not sure which) were a perfect 10.

Smells amazing but the taste doesn't match, unfortunately. I would light a candle from the smell.
