High proportion of Carignane. Very green on the palate. Tannic and forest floor earth with balancing spice. Medium bodied and slightly funky.

Dark and inky in the glass with notes of tea, blueberries and sage. Ripe black fruit with a salty, nutty, piquant backbone and a savory finish that shows a lingering minerality.

Darker, acidic blend. Slightly brown hue, there were evident tannins of cherries, soil, tobacco. Accompanied nicely a brisket.

Very dry, with a distinct oak note on the finish. I love it.

Decanted for about an hour. Dark fruit/cherry fruit on the nose. A hint of anise and white pepper as well. Similar on the pallet with a really profound spiciness. Great acidity. Good fine, bright tannins. Comments calling this "thin" are rather off in my opinion. Broad texture without the goopy tannins. $14 is great value, a pleasant surprise. Better and better it opened up.

Disappointed. Lacked the earthy fruit and pencil lead notes desired. Very thin feel in mouth and lacked body. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt - in saying it needs more time.
