Elegance and complexity has replaced the old school power and complexity of the young wine. Thank you bottle age!

Spice, Thyme and oregano figs dates with ripe plum hint of meatiness.. Soft tannin not as good as I remember it back in 2014

From a magnum and decanted. Years to go here but very nice structure and fruit supporting a mild tannic backbone. Nice change of pace after a hot day on the golf course.

Probably the least impressive CdP I've had in awhile. Still good but not much of the ferric complexity I like in these wines.

Prominent spiced red fruit flavours, balanced tannins and an elegant finish. Ageing in older barrels means fruit flavours take precedence over oak, leading to a less powerful but more refined young CdP. Needs at least 2 hours in a decanter for the alcohol and roughness to moderate
