Hello beautiful! This was firing on all cylinders. As good as a rose' can be for me. Ample weight, not too sweet, sensational alone or with food. The perfect summer wine for my palette.

Deep purple with medium (+) intensity developing aromas of smoked meat, blackberry, black cherry, leather, mint, cranberry. Dry, with medium acidity and high tannins, high alcohol and the wine is full-bodied. Lovely aromas of smoke, blackberry, black plum. Medium (+) finish. It trails off a bit at the end but still very good quality. Drink now but has potential for further aging.

On the nose, tangerines, strawberries, cherries, watermelon, soft chalkiness & minerals, fruit blossoms, pink roses & florals. Equal entry of fruit and strong presence of chalkiness & minerals on the palate. Ripe, lean fruits of; watermelon, cherries, strawberries & tangerine with fruits blossoms, pink roses & fresh floral bouquet. Very good mellow acidity with rich fruit & strong minerals on the finish. Photos of the estate and their large oak vats. 2016 just arrived 3 weeks ago. 50% Mourvèdre, 25% Cinsault, 25% Grentile.

So fascinating. Slight hints of mint/menthol. Vicks cherry cough drops, wet earth, cherry/cranberry infused tobacco. Lovely wine.
