An old Kermit Lynch selection. Always a question as to whether to decant or not. Didn't in this case so initial notes were dirty and Brett. Once more air kicked in the Syrah started to show through.
Pretty garnet edge to edge. Red rose petal, black pepper, red raspberry and nutmeg.
Linear red currant, plum, and cedar. Thin in the middle but lingering flavors and finish. Shows well for its age.
