Nose of red and black fruits mixed with white pepper and herbs. Palate of earth, blackberry, and tar. Very dry finish with medium tannins.

Juice to encourage conversation at the historic house tour homeowner social. The people are many times more interesting than the homes. The wine memorable because of the occasion.

Bits of cellar dust - not much else to the nose yet. Medium fruits, not too sweet, not too acidic. A thoughtful wine, that changes with the more chance it gets to inhale. I don't think I would age this for too long, doesn't seem to have the structure for it. Gunpowder tea like tannins finish this philosopher wine.
