bouquet shows ink, blackberry syrup, leather, olive oil, meat (a little fried chicken?), black plums, dust, balsamic, wet cedar...tasting brings blackberries and cedar blended into magic. garrigue, charcuterie and earth make their appearances. God bless the Rhone. (This was amazing upon opening- but lost its sheen within hours.)
