After 24 hours this really shines. Great balance with excellent deep fruit, acid, and tannin.

Hundred year old Carignan and Grenache vines from a cool hillside in Minervois with Burgundian winemaking by Anne Gros. Perfumed nose with a load of funk initially, then violets and subtle black fruit. Light in body for a Minervois but elegant and richly flavored. Needs a few years to soften the tannins on the finish. Still a Provençal wine, not something I normally seek out, but you can definitely feel the Burg in this.

Apr 15th, 2016Even with my allergies I can get the fragrance of this wine. Perfumed with an iron tinge to it. Wild blackberry and nice tannins. Love the youth of this wine and with air likely merits a better score.
