2011 was lovely. Lots of Cornas character. Not quite as lumbering as theCote Roties of the evening. Both Voge were relatively fresh and nimble, and terroir transparent.

My daughters' birthday so time for our yearly 2011. This year: Alain Voge Cornas Vieilles Vignes. Beautiful nose, extreme long finish but...a degree of acidity which covered it's depth. Complex wine. But also difficult to judge. Strange phase of it's lifecycle?
