Gift from @Shawn R from when I was at his place last year.
This is pop and pour right now. Nose on this is hedonistic like with ripe and juicy fruits all over the place...raspberry, blackberry, lots of blueberry. Boysenberry. Milk chocolate and nutmeg with sandalwood. At 15.9 ABV, it definitely smells a tad hot. Very agreeable and approachable on the palate from start to finish. Fruit from all over the spectrum washes over and the finish adds some peppercorn spice. Zero green or pepper to this. Don’t envision this being a long term ager, meant to be enjoyed young. If I was guessing blind, I probably would have called this a zin or Aussie Shiraz. Unique in its own way (like Del Dotto as a whole) but it’s hard to deny the yummy factor. Thanks Shawn!

One of my favorite Cab Francs. Bright red fruit, brown spices, medium + tannins. No green. Ready to go at pop and pour.
