2015 vintage claims 80% Paid and 20% Carignan on front label.
Pours fairly pale, gains color with air. Some, slightly flabby mulberry fruit. Slightly distracting CO2 on the palate, which dissipated somewhat with aeration but never went away. The CO2 lent freshness to the plane but obscured most of the in mouth aromas.
This wine was a perfect example of wait staff, bartenders especially needing a bit of training. My bartender claimed not to have tasted it, on a list that only offers 4 or 5 feeds BTG. He didn't know it was a natural wine or any history about the Renaissance of pais in Chile.

Feral and fruity, earthy and oxidative, herbal depths, glint of Brett...spicy and saucy argument for playing the #wine margins of #chile

Perfect table red, would be exceptionally delicious with a chill on a warm summer night. Affordable crowd pleaser with the right balance of tart fruit.

chuggable gluggable juicy grape juice. Best chilled... in a cute novelty cup... through a crazy straw... might as well throw some ice and chunks of fruit in too, bc this wine is basically already sangria... and I mean all of this in the happiest nicest drunkest way - YAY!

Very nice. Lighter. Drinkable with veggie dishes or pasta. Good price point.

Okay now that this has opened up... Funkiness subdued. Notes of mint and raisin.
