A little disappointing. Initial nose is spectacular w lifted fruit, spicy plum skin, star anise. Palate is a bit peaky and offers in mouth aroma of crushed chewable vitamins I associate w acidification. Balance seemed off on this bottle.

2012 vintage. Great typicity and good structure. Blackberry, stewed black cherry, black plum, little bit of smokiness, dried herbs, dried violets, cedar, loamy dirt.

Nose of; blackberries, blueberries, black cherries, black licorice, used coffee grounds and decayed floral bouquet. Palate of; blackberries, black cherries, black raspberries, expresso, anise, leather, dry crushed rocks, dry florals, medium tannins, decent acidity with a nice even consistent finish. Photos show they still use the older basket press (still largely used in the area) and their 1920's looking factory.

Medium-bodied, great fruit flavor with a bit of spice in the finish, well balanced and easy drinking.

Color of dark ruby, quite opaque and a bit bubbly. Nose is interesting in a nice way. Some blackberry, some plum, round, chocolate, a bit barley, oak, and black cherry note. Taste follows the nose, with addition of green pepper, very nice black cherry note, and beautiful oak note, sage, olive, polished tannins, salty bacon, and subtle acidity. Aftertaste is long with some more rose pedal note. Tasty.

Easy to drink. Had a nice body and some herbaceous and spice flavours.
