Syrah from Cayuse’s vineyards in Washington. That’s rare and really cool! Savory nose with olive tapenade, tar, and rare meats. The body is medium plus and balanced. Red and black fruits with savory herbs and a long finish. Beautiful wine I found on Winebid.

Copain making wine with Cayuse fruit? Yes please! This wine was made from 2001-2004 and is the only time I've heard of anyone having access to Cayuse's vineyards. Very meaty and savory. Olive, earth, herb, plum. Lighter in body and density than typical Cayuse. Aging well, probably at or around peak.
