Second of the four reds for the blind tasting of Non-American Shiraz/Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting.

Deep mix of garnet and ruby red. Biggest nose of the lot with layers of gunpowder, bramble berries, black berries, a touch jammy, baking spices and maybe a little mint. Some aged characteristics of tomato too. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Rich palate with some aged cherries, black fruits, vanilla, cinnamon, and solid dark gravel. Almost volcanic rocks. Excellent structure and long, lingering finish. Drink till 2024.

Love this! Complex & fun. Old woody attic, dried floral, still good fruit, plum, blueberry, raspberry. Finish builds slowly to leave you satisfied, but wanting more.
