Big out of the gate. Deep and concentrated, yet restrained, complex, with a pleasing richness. Long acids leading to long finish. A tad young. Sort of wish we hadn't opened it. Oops. Lotta life in this baby.

Thought it was Malbec in a blind tasting. Woody, rustic notes but not very reminscent of Rhone-style Syrah. Nice body and smooth; easy drink.
