1989 vintage that I found in my basement. I assumed this wine would be shot. I was wrong. There was a little oxidation on the nose when first opened. The color was beautiful, light gold and clear. This wine showed beautiful rich melon flavored perfectly balanced with orange citrus. Remarkably complex with the layers peeling back as it swirled in your mouth like an intricately woven novel that you can't put down. I am truly amazed at the youthfulness and complexity of this beautiful wine. * this wine developed markedly over the course of 2 hours...
