Sipping Fine Wine

Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. Pale lemon with aromas of ripe stone fruits and honey blossom notes, very typical of Riesling. On the palate flavors of crisp apple and peach with honey notes, lively acidity that serves best with food. Medium finish ending with mineral notes. For $11, great value.

This is a very tasty Riesling from Columbia Valley. Showing diesel, citrus, lemons, yellow apples, melons, pears and spices.

Medium plus in body with medium-plus acidity.

Off dry on the palate with a soft mouthfeel and light effervescence.

Easy drinking by itself or with food. I paired it with a gorgeous day by the lake.

12% alcohol by volume.

88 points.

$10.
