Great berry and black cherry flavors. Pairs nicely with cheese and chocolate. Bring it out for dessert.

Very dry. Lacks flavor and aroma. Worse on the 2nd day. All I ended up smelling is the alcohol.

2015 was an amazing vintage in France.
This Rhone region really reflects the great year with a ruby color wine with mid/high acidity. Full-bodied and deeply savoury. Violets, black plum and black raspberry. Great concentration and depth with a long finish. Pair with meat dishes and strong cheese/sausages. Produced by Domaine Lafage, this robust Rhone red wine from 2015 vintage of this Cotes du Roussillon Chimeres is a blend of mostly Grenache and Syrah grapes, with a splash of Carignan. The wine rest in stainless steel tanks, then fermentation in 500 litre barrels.

Very good on the second day (2013). Nice blend, the grapes work well together. It's layered, with tannins, yet very smooth.

Pretty solid wine. Lots of tar, black pepper, and red fruits.
