Bandol Mourvedre - Cinsault Rosé Blend

deep burnt orange, reminiscent of a sunset; strawberry, peach, wet stones, garrigue, and floral notes; medium+ body, dry, zippy acidity, 14% ABV; blend is majority Mourvèdre but also contains Cinsault and Grenache, short maceration on the skins, fermented at low temperature, aged in stainless steel; the estate has been owned by the Portalis family since before the French Revolution, a standard bearer for Bandol, a Neal Rosenthal import; $30

Teal Marsala

Dry, rich and quite bold (14%ABV). Lots of complexity and long finish.

Red fruits on the nose and palate, a good amount of acid balanced by lingering minerals. Great summery rosé.

Definitely enjoyed. Obviously on the darker and more direct side but still pairs well with many things. Would be great to explore in a few years as well.

so excited to finally try Pradeaux’s rose and it doesnt disappoint. beautiful salmon color and a rich, complex, delicious rose. highly recommend
