Interesting to compare to Argentine Malbec; this had the same berry notes but also a touch of green / herbal which I haven't noticed in the New World style.

Oddly punching acidity and tannins for this wine, but has lost a bit of its fruit and flavor over the years.

Red jam, leather and oak on the nose. Similar flavors in the pallet. Dry, satisfying finish. Wonderful budget Malbec.
