Garnet in color with brick edging. The nose here shows dried dark fruits, cassis, brambles. Nice earth notes of dried brush and sun baked stone come through as well. Smooth and full, the palette gives more spice and mineral than fruit with very soft tannin. This is drinking very well now and is probably at or near its peak. Excellent showing for a cru bourgeois.
