Feather-headed, golden knight label is a bit much. Almost like they are going for a superhero wine. Deep red color. Smells somewhat sweet with a streak of Red Vines black licorice in there. Also a hint of hot blacktop in a fresh rain. Flavors are dried fruits and black berry cobbler. Maybe a hint of sage or basil. It’s short and fairly simple. Fruit is the dominate take home. It’s similar to an early harvested Lodi OVZ. Drinkable and decent, but not worthy or a golden knight. Maybe a tin horse.
