This great value Garagiste private label is drinking sensationally right now. Nose has deep wild cherry liqueur, sprinklings of spice dust, bright mineral-flecked gravel, and ancient legal treatises. The old library thing. At a perfect point palate-wise, with deep fruit, bright acids, resolved tannins. Outstanding.

Tasting great. Tannins are very integrated. Maraschino cherry, dust, dried flowers, some wood paneled tobacco room, more dried flowers, great with Italian sausage and pasta. So glad I purchased these when I did.

This is pretty darn good right now. Better with an hour of air. A lot of cherry, leather, dried rose, gravel, skin of tart plum. So good with pizza and pasta. Love the perfume. Great value.

Lower acidity in this, but not silky tannins either. A beautiful dry Italian red.
Taste: Stewed strawberries but without the sweetness, light black pepper... I didn’t leave enough to do a proper tasting I was just enjoying drinking it.
