Beguiling, layered, exotic VdFrance! My God, what these winemakers can do when let off the leash! Dried floral bouquet (funky!) in equal measure with ripe melon. Second sip hints at green chilies or tomatillo. Lots of acid and a chunky minerality that reminds me more of granite than chalk. Tons of pear and green apple on the finish. Super fresh, and probably turning even more dramatic as an old lady.
