From a time when oak use was a bit more prominent here, the nose is complex but not that Blaufränkisch - oak, spice, earth and blackberries. Palate is clean, lots of fruit, silky flow, oak creaminess but with a little more of the fresh blue and black fruit and a crack of pepper. Pretty long, too. Nicely composed.
