Le Cigare Blanc Beeswax Vineyard White Rhone Blend

Waxy texture, ripe brown pear, citric acidity. Hitting a whole lot of pleasure points.

'This wine is weird' it has that 'eastern European' aromatic. Plum pit, stony, anti-Barbie. Quotes from Randall. For me green plum, fruit tree blossoms, old school cosmetics/face powder, dusky rose. Again a fleshy/crisp texture. I think this will reward time in the cellar.

Fun and crisp on a hot night. Honeysuckle, cantaloupe, lime, marzipan finish. Delicious!

Like opening a washed rind cheese at first. Funky gives way to delicious. Great acidity on the finish. Nice job Randall.

Don't normally drink white but figured end of summer. This is nice. Tasty fruit and lots of flavor.

I love Grenache and can now say the same for Grenache Blanc. Beeswax Vineyard is an appropriate name as I can taste/smell it. Hearty and crisp at the same time. Yum.
