Purple red. Cherry and plum notes with great length in mouth, slight black olive note as well in nose and mouth, moderate astringency and bitterness in finish. Needs aeration for tannins to soften. A tad too much oak for me but good value if you can decant it for an hour or two.

This wine is great for the price. It's from the same region in Spain as the Bodegas Fuentespina I rated last summer, although I have to say I like that one a bit more. Try this one. I think you'll like it.
