Nice temp!! For the price certainly worth it. Nice fruit with tannins present, just enough oak. Nice wine.

Dusty nose, dark fruit, mole, licorice, medium tannin structure. Was good with enchiladas rojo.

It is fairly good, maybe a little too earthy though. It has a full body and it is flavorful. I'd drink it again, but I wouldn't have it more then 3 or 4 times a year.

I'm a believer in second chances and have the relationship history to prove it. The first go-around with this moderately priced Tempranillo was kind of like my one shot with Match.com; a couple of tastes and my reaction was "not for me" and I moved on. Problem was that I had bought two bottles and my local wino only likes MD 20/20 so I said what the heck. To my surprise bottle 2 opened up and was way less tannic with really nice dark berry fruit and notes of wood and leather but a lighter style that worked well with lamb chops (perfect for my buddy Mr. Fales) that also stood up for more than 24 hours. Again..better than some of the Match dates! Good value for 11 bucks and worth a try. Snide comments from friends expected at this point.
