Fresh, smoky, med plus tannin, refreshing acidity, red currant, soil tone. Traditional. Can be kept longer but enjoyable now.

DeVinimus

Restrained (could use more age). Leather, earth tones, mushrooms and dried flowers on nose. Leather and a little coffee. Complex. Fruit is subtle and secondary. Would be great with grilled meats. (Rioja Seminar and Tasting, presented by Robin Kelley O'Connor, Certified Wine Educator)
