Superb!!! So pleased with this. Last bottle I had was in 2014, at which point it was quite closed, austere and lacking balance. How that has all changed. Today, everything works in harmony - beautifully resolves tannins, mellow acidity, ripe fruit, and tons of spice. Paired with a heavily seasoned 12oz sirloin cooked with chorizo, which couldn’t have worked better.

1 person found it helpfulJan 15th, 2019Intense nose that beyond the alcohol revealed some fruit. After decanting, the palate was sublime. Tremendous balance between a firm structure and fruit-driven mid-palate that lasted ages. Fully inviting to the last sip. Should develop for a few years still.
