For a 2009 it hasn't got the pop I was expecting but it's still a deep, velvety and fruity taste. Bargain price of £5.45 at Aldi.

Lovely bottle that won't last long! Fruity, full bodied with a touch of tannins

Plummy Rioja. Needed decanting which opened it up a little. Not a big smoky one but not dry either. Went very well with the rump steak and frites tonight.
