Governors Cup Winner (first dry red winner ever) from last year. It's been laid down for approximately a year in my cellar. Slightly smokey, hints of vanilla, violets, and black cherry. Aromas match the flavors on my palate. Finish is spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Northern Rhone in style. Amazing potential for NYS dry red wines. Props to the Aliperti's!!!
